Surgical WeightMatters is one of four brands in the HealthMatters Group, combining targeted non surgical, pharmaceutical and bariatric surgical interventions in the treatment of obesity and related comorbid health conditions. WeightMatters was established in 2005, and is the UK’s leading therapy centre for weight, food, eating and health issues. In 2018 we formed a partnership with Sanjay Purkayastha, an internationally renowned bariatric surgeon, to form Surgical WeightMatters. Over the last decade he has assembled an exceptional clinical team, who lead the way in minimally invasive bariatric techniques, enhanced recovery programmes and digital support for patients. Personalised approaches to patient care and the integration of latest best evidence are the cornerstones of this surgical practice. Our partnership is based on shared values of clinical excellence, patient care and optimal outcomes of health and wellbeing.
