Surflay Nanotec GmbH is an interdisciplinary team of scientists transforming surface modification, characterization, LbL technologies, fluorescent polymers, nanoparticles, micro-particles, and micro-sensors into valuable products assessing pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical applications. Dr. Lars Dähne leads Surflay Nanotec since 2008, after the increased success of the development of the Layer-by-Layer encapsulation at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces. Surflay is at the cutting edge of polymer and surface science as well as micro-sensors, helping academic and industrial partners to develop highly valuable technologies and products.
At Surflay Nanotec GmbH, our focus revolves around three interconnected scientific solutions. Firstly, we specialize in contract research and surface solutions, offering nanoscale surface modification and functionalization, as well as Layer-by-Layer (LbL) coatings. These advanced techniques allow for precise control over surface properties and can be tailored to meet specific requirements. Secondly, we excel in the development of fluorescent polymers, nano- and micro-structures, beads, and microbubbles.
