Our mission is to empower people living with cancer to find strength and support through exercise. We are committed to using the latest cancer and fitness research to set the highest standards in exercise treatment.
As a Bay Area non-profit, we bridge the gap between medical treatment and physical activity by working with healthcare professionals to bring exercise directly to patients. The latest research acknowledges the power of exercise in complementing cancer treatment, improving recovery, increasing survival rates and reducing rates of recurrence. Our core programs provide cancer exercise counseling and exercise classes tailored to the specifics needs of clients during and after treatment. Over the past 10 years, we have established partnerships with Stanford Cancer Center, UCSF Cancer Center, Marin General Hospital, SF General Hospital, cancer-focused NGO’s, as well as local fitness clubs such as the Bay Club and Fitness SF.
