Summit Sports & Social (formerly Stay in Play Recreation, LLC) is a northeast Ohio small business that runs adult recreational sports leagues and social events in Summit County, with a focus on downtown Akron. Our goal is giving participants a location to play and an environment to meet new people, exercise, and experience their city in new ways. We work with large and small organizations to help promote wellness and community engagement. Offering programming that varies from more laid-back approachable recreational leagues to serious and fiercely competitive groupings, we’re confident you won’t regret adding our routine dose of fun to your week. After piloting different sports & events, we now offer seasonal and year-round programming including volleyball, dodgeball, kickball, Spikeball, and bocce ball bringing hundreds of active residents together to play.
