Computer animation studio «Petersburg»founded in March 2003. Our studio – is the only one in Russia, where the entire production process is conducted in a digital format using modern computer technologies. The creative team studio has more than 100 professionals working on powerful graphic stations for 2D and 3D animation. Due to all these, Studio «Petersburg»can provide a high rate of production of animated TV series, corresponding to the west. And for the support of young talents and developing in the people a love to the art and at the studio working a school of animators storyboards and directors, as well as writer’s courses of animated films, whose doors are open to everyone. Tree of Childhood – this is a magical universe of a child, filled with precarious space, instantly changing by wind of time, fantastic creatures and strange events. This is what is inside everyone. Besides the basic direction of work – the animation cinema, the studio also produces computer games and DVD collections. At the present time it is already released more than 50 DVD collections and 20 computer games. All production distinguished by its uniqueness and a variety, part of which is bears strictly a social and charitable nature. We strive to realize huge amount of knowledge and experience with full impact of our work. And the works of our team have repeatedly been appreciated at various film festivals: Grand Prix of the International Festival of «China International Cartoon and Digital Art Festival» (China, Guangzhou, 2005), Audience Award in International Festival of television animation Cartoons on the Bay (Italy, 2005) Nomination to the National Film Award «Golden Eagle»in 2008, GI 2009 in the category «Best Animated Film», etc.
