Studio 80 was located at Rembrandtplein, right in the city center of Amsterdam. Behind the distinctive, hard-to-see black doors you find a dark but intimate club with a capacity of 600 people, divided over two rooms. Focusing on underground electronic music, Studio 80 provided a platform for both up-and-coming artists and established names from July 2005 until the venue was sold in January 2016. The top-notch custom-build soundsystem pumped out a great diversity of the electronic genre, from house to techno and everything in between - while the online radio station, which was situated in between both club rooms, provided a platform for both local radio makers and international guests.
