Students Achieve was founded in 2010, and since has now provided many jobs and provided over 100+ lessons to Students across London. Students Achieve is a student-to-student tutoring network, which revolves around training young students who have recently finished their A levels or degrees in a certain specified subject which we then go onto qualifying to be our Students Achieve tutors who can provide a high standard of tuition to younger students. This small age gap between the students creates a robust friendly relationship with the student; having a resilient bond enables less pressure from the student to be able to ask any questions that they need help with, without any sort of hesitation. Having a Strong bond with them brings about a friendly environment in which both the tutor and the child would benefit.
Students Achieve have developed the structure needed to make student-to-student tutoring a predictable, measurable and dynamic support to student learning. Our model is based on a number of well-supported premises, including the following:
1. Mature Students are able to assist as effective tutors for peers and younger children.
2. Peer tutoring results in numerous academic and non-academic benefits for both tutor and tutee
3. Escalating time pressure on families, children often need more academic support than can be provided in school or by family members.
