Streum On is an indie video game studio based in Nogent sur Marne, near Paris. The studio was founded in 2007 by three young Frenchmen after they developed and released Syndicate Black Ops, a Half-Life mod acclaimed by players.
Streum On released their first official game in 2011. Inspired by a role-playing game the founders created years before, E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy gathered a community of hardcore fans that still discuss and produce content about the game to this day. With an innovative mix of the FPS and RPG genres and among multiple game mechanics, E.Y.E offered a Battle Royale mode years before the BR craze took off.
Streum On caught the attention of Xavier Niel, founder of the international group Iliad, who offered logistic support to the team in the form of servers and a free ad campaign. Since E.Y.E runs on the Source engine, Valve also provided logistic and marketing support.
Boosted by the enthusiastic community and commercial partners supporting their first release, Streum On teamed up with Focus Home Interactive (publisher, producer), Cyanide Studios (co-producer) and Games Workshop (Warhammer license) to develop Space Hulk : Deathwing (PC, 2016), a first-person shooter with RPG elements, set in the world of the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game Space Hulk. The team has then worked on an Enhanced Edition with new features, optimization and a PS4 release.
After that we keep working in WH40K universe and we have released in 2021 the fast FPS Necromunda: Hired gun.
We are currently starting a top secret and thrilling new FPS on Unreal Engine 5. Stay tuned!
