Our foundation is committed to emancipation, social and legal equality and acceptance of gays, bisexuals and lesbians, but also for those who do not want to live their life according to social dominant gender roles (like masculine women, feminine men and queers) or for those who change gender identity. In order to achieve this visibility of the diversity is necessary. What you see cannot be ignored. The primary objective of the foundation is therefore to organize activities and events in public space and create public awareness for LGBT rights, both national and international. The Amsterdam Gay Pride is a nine-day festival with a broad program of Arts & Culture, Sports, Debate and Religious activities. The last 4 days it becomes the biggest street party event of Amsterdam with stages all over the city centre, the world famous Canal Parade and over 500.000 visitors. Our foundation is the spider in the web of all participating organizations, companies and authorities involved and financially and security wise responsible for a successful festival.
