Steradian Technologies is an infectious disease startup bridging the gap of high-tech healthcare accessibility by inventing a hand-held, single-step diagnostic for respiratory diseases. The diagnostic uses breath as a novel, high-sensitivity sample and incorporates photonic biosensors for disease detection in under 1 minute, all for the price of a latte ($5)! Steradian Technologies was named BIPOC Startup of the Year by Houston Exponential, Top 10 Most Promising Life Science Startups by Rice Alliance and the Texas Life Science Forum, received the Houston Methodist System Award, and won the 'One to Watch" MEDy (Medical, Entrepreneurship, and Disruption) Award by NextMed Health.
