Stave Medical Equipment Services is an organization focused on reducing the cost of ownership on hospital medical devices. Results are achieved through restructuring service contracts to fit service utilization or working with hospital’s in-house Clinical Engineering Departments to cut contracts and bring service in-house. Our founder, David Hanna has nearly 15 years of experience in the field of medical equipment maintenance. David has served as a technician over his first 7 years in the field supporting biomedical and imaging devices, then in a leadership role over the last 8, most recently in a regional leadership role over biomedical and imaging services in a multi-hospital organization. David has saved his organizations nearly $3 million through contract restructuring in addition to major savings through contract avoidance through evaluation and analysis. Factors in decision-making include: uptime requirements, equipment redundancy, location, patient throughput, service response times and contract utilization.
