Corey Ross began presenting show by international artists in 1995, bringing art disciplines from around the world to Canada’s multicultural communities.
In 1999, he produced the First Night New Year’s Eve Festival at Harbourfront Centre and then the 1999/2000 season for Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall. Artists booked there included Bryan Adams, Diana Krall, Tito Puente, Destiny’s Child, George Carlin, and Oscar Peterson. Ross also presented Broadway and TV star Mandy Patinkin at Toronto’s Hummingbird Centre, raising over $150,000 for charity. Ross was the marketing consultant for Andrea Bocelli at the ACC.
Ross’s work creating gala events has raised millions of dollars for Jewish charities, leukemia and cancer research, and homeless youth. He focuses on fostering tolerance through music, promoting Arabic pop stars Khaled and Hakim after September 11th, 2001. Ross is vice-president of Artists Against Racism, which was awarded the 2001 United Nations Humanitarian Award for promoting tolerance.
Starvox Entertainment has presented artists from around the world, in venues all over the world, such as: a sold-out run with Cuba’s renowned Tropicana at Fallsview Casino, TV talk show host Dr. Phil's first speaking engagement in Canada in over 3 years, shows by Israel’s David Broza, Italy’s Zucchero, The Republic of Georgia's Samaia, South Africa's dance phenomenon African Footprint in Mexico, America, France and Lebanon, and Grammy-winning Hungarian classical crossover violinist Edvin Marton in Mexico and China in October of 2009.
