St. Dominic’s International School (SDIS) is a highly respected and well known international school.
Founded in 1975 by Irish Dominican sisters, was the first and currently one of the few schools in Portugal authorised to offer all three programmes of the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO).
All classes of Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) are taught in English. Students also have Portuguese, French and Spanish as additional languages.
Visual Arts, Music, Drama, Design and Physical Education are part of a normal week of classes.
