St. Bernard's School of Theology & Ministry is a Roman Catholic graduate school that serves the Dioceses of Rochester, Albany, Syracuse, and Allentown. Opened as a Roman Catholic Seminary in 1893 and restructured into an Institute for Theological and Ministerial studies in 1981, St. Bernard’s has steadily pursued a course of dedication and service to Christ and His Church.
St. Bernard's offers four Masters degrees in theology and philosophy and a range of continuing education opportunities and certificates for those looking for further education in their profession, as well as for those seeking personal enrichment and deeper understanding of the convictions of faith. Graduates of St. Bernard's can be found serving the Church as faith formation directors, chaplains, teachers, key members of parish staffs, music ministers, parish leaders, deacons, youth ministers, and more.
