Manufacturing of bar soap was established by Procter & Gamble at the Ivorydale facility in 1890, with the facility being divested in 2003 to an independent company that was able to consolidate the contract manufacturing of bar soap for a number of leading brand-owners into this high capacity, efficient facility.
