Speedtree (Idv, Inc)

SpeedTree® is a suite of vegetation modeling and middleware products developed by Interactive Data Visualization, Inc. (IDV) that generates virtual foliage for visual effects, architecture, video games and real-time simulations. Now a part of Unity Technologies. Launched in 2002, SpeedTree the SpeedTree Modeler offers an intuitive hybrid of hand and procedural modeling tools and has earned extensive recognition including a 2015 Sci-Tech Academy Award®, a 2015 Engineering Emmy®, and a Develop Award. SpeedTree is used in over 50 countries and has been used in hundreds of film, television, and game titles. Some recent notable uses include such films as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Jungle Book; and both AAA and Indie Game titles including Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Far Cry 4, and Ark: Survival Evolved.
