Southwest Public Schools is a state charter, governed by the Texas Education Agency, open in 1999 with the goal of providing an academic program that celebrates diversity of student interests, cultures, talents, and proficiencies through a school of choice which offers: • Open enrollment Elementary, Middle, and High School in a small setting where students receive individual attention and support. • Challenging and stimulating coursework provided by certified highly qualifies professionals. • Internship opportunities and corporate relationships with Chevron, Equlibria, and Genesys Works, Inc. • Top-notch, innovative technology with interactive Smart Boards in all classrooms. • Advanced Placement coursework in all areas for high school students. • The Phoenix School provides educational services for youth in 6 residential treatment facilities.
