Southern University System

What began as a dream more than 136 years ago is today a living legacy of determination, commitment, and success. The Southern University and A&M College System is the only historically black university system in the United States. The system is comprised of five campuses- Southern University at Baton Rouge, Southern University at New Orleans, Southern University at Shreveport, Southern University Law Center, and Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center. Southern University is a comprehensive institution offering two-year, four-year, graduate, professional, and doctorate degree programs, fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC).
