THE SOLIS STORY
In 1981 Solis Foods was founded by a Mexican Family who settled in Alymer, Ontario. With a passion for fresh and authentic food, they produced a line of Mexican food that became popular across Ontario over several decades.
In 1995 new owners purchased the company and operations were moved to St. Marys, Ontario. Over the next 16 years Solis grew from its country roots into a full sized food manufacturer purchasing established brands from Unilever, Con Agra and Ralcorp.
Today Solis Foods has 3 manufacturing plants, 200 employees and has products distributed across the globe. Solis adheres to the most stringent SQF and HACCP manufacturing practices Solis produces superior food products for Foodservice, Private Label and Retail venues using ingredients from All the Goodness Under the Sun.
