Our brand is a homage to the rebellious group of 70s climbers - the Stonemasters. They pioneered the art of social climbing whilst breaking every rule and making new ones. Taking partying as seriously as their sport, the Stonemasters pioneered the art of solo free-climbing without ropes and scaled the toughest faces and boulders of Yosemite. Social Climbing is set in the heart of Leicester in the Highcross Shopping Centre and caters for all ages. We run kids classes and courses, ladies nights, beginners classes and classes catered for a more experienced climber. Not only is climbing great for physical health but it really goes to town on your mental wellbeing too. Working out where to put your hands and feet is a great problem solving task and you can bond and make friends with those who are equally as frustrated with a problem. Social Climbing has won numerous awards including the Trip Advisor's Travellers Choice award, only awarded to the top 10% of attractions Worldwide. We also hit the #1 thing to do in Leicester on Trip Advisor. The team also won 'Best Newcomer' at the Highcross Awards for the teams effort at providing great customer service and great collaboration work in the city.
