Smart Manufacturing Alliance

The Smart Manufacturing Alliance is making manufacturers more competitive and productive across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We pinpoint performance gaps and address operational challenges with one-to-one expert support, training brokerage, and informative events. We also run an ERDF programme to support manufacturers on their digitisation journey and encourage the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies - which includes a £300,000 grant scheme to fund purchase of equipment. Members of our alliance also have access to a network of like-minded manufacturers, supported by our team’s connections to the experts they need within industry, and across technology development, finance, education, and academia.
