Founded July 2010, SlipShift is the brainchild of three former Games Academy students and one of their teachers. The initial desire to create a startup company evolved as far back as February 2009 and came to fruition with their final project at the Games Academy. “We set out to create a company that would allow us to develop a new breed of unique, high quality games. Our vision thus established we gathered together a group of highly motivated and passionate game developers” (Philipp Willers).
SlipShift, as a company, is focused on the development of browser games, social games and maximizing the opportunities that arise with new, innovative markets and platforms. We are currently developing and planning to develop our own, unique projects and IPs, but we are also ready to tackle project development on a ‘work made for hire’ basis.
Our goal is to establish a track record of good games as quickly as possible in order to allow SlipShift to grow into a position of strength and thus able to tackle ever more ambitious projects. It is simple really, our mantra is: “Pushing Passion.”
