Slash Arts is a multinational artist and curator-led organization that was founded in 2020 at the outset of the pandemic with the intended goal of assisting rising modern artists to continue working throughout their pandemic isolation. Through our schedule of exhibitions (both physical and online), residencies, art auctions, and art salons, we have quickly expanded and are now committed to exhibiting and supporting emerging contemporary artists and curators. Slash Arts develops its annual program of events in collaboration with artists and curators. We support contemporary visual arts in all media, including digital, performance, and installation art, as well as fashion and music. We sponsor initiatives that are socially or environmentally involved and favor experimental non-commercial work that artists find challenging to express elsewhere (in the past year, we have organized events in support of COP 26, LGBTQ+, Ukraine humanitarian aid, and the mentally sick). When it is more appropriate, we display in several locations in addition to the Slash Arts Houseboat Gallery. The Slash Arts Houseboat Gallery is a distinctive exhibition venue with a high foot traffic area in Kings Cross, the center of London, that allows both indoor displays and outdoor audiences to see performances and art exhibits.
