SkyMark is a Pittsburgh-based software firm, specializing in web applications for managing conferences, associations, academic journals, benchmarking groups, and process improvement teams. SkyMark's clients include the Center for Research in Educational Policy, at the University of Memphis, which runs one of the largest education research databases in the world. The center holds 20 years of survey response data, collected from schools in the US and Canada. SkyMark's Survey Management System is the at heart of their data collection and longitudinal data comparison efforts. Another interesting client is mmp|BENCH, a consulting firm based in Washington state, that coordinates the efforts of 20 of the world's foremost childrens' hospitals to find, research, and develop best healthcare practices. SkyMark makes the software that helps support the group's extensive data gathering, analysis, and comparison, along with JCAHO reporting.
