Sk1er LLC focuses on the development of Minecraft modifications ("mods") and Minecraft related services used by hundreds of thousands of different Minecraft players weekly. Founded by Mitchell "Sk1er" Katz in 2018, Sk1er LLC quickly grew to become a dominant player in the Minecraft: Java Edition modding scene. The company has published over 50 unique mods encompassing a large scope objectives such as increasing performance (frames per second) of the game, adding quality of life and utility functionality, or introducing new challenges for players to combat. As of September 2020, Sk1er LLC had received over 5 million total downloads of its software.
