Our Missions - Performing for a better society
Our mission is to be a creative platform that uses music and theatre to help shape an inspiring future:
- by producing musical revues and shows that open social dialogues in the Singaporean community and promote multicultural interaction
- by making music and theatre universally accessible, especially in hospitals, reaching out in particular to the most isolated and underprivileged patients
- by empowering youth and the community as a whole by sharing our passion for performing and providing top-level musical theatre training

What we do
Shows
Sing’theatre is recognized on the Singapore scene as a musical theatre specialist. We use primarily the musical theatre genre and French cabaret style to bring social conversations and personal struggles to the stage. We take current issues in society, give them a unique perspective and make them resonate with Singaporeans.
Sing’theatre has produced A Singaporean in Paris, A French Kiss in Singapore, 8 Women, La Vie En Rose and Jaques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris.
Community Outreach
Beyond the traditional stage, Sing’Theatre is committed to bringing music to everyone thanks to its various community outreach programmes with hospitals, namely MusicalRendezVous@NUH and MusicFest@SGH. We feel it is vital to provide cultural exposure to all, stimulating creativity, active citizenship and societal cohesion.
The Academy
Sing’theatre gives theatre enthusiasts from all walks of life the opportunity to practise with and learn from professional artists through our high quality classes. Today, culture is not only recognised for its contribution to the formation of identities and a sense of belonging but also for its educational potential. As such, more than just offering technical lessons, we are exposing our students to the cultural value of musical theatre and real professional stage experience.
