Sinclair House School opened in Fulham in 1989 as a small co-educational Nursery and Pre-Prep, offering a warm, caring and secure school environment. The School is committed to personalised teaching, tailored to nurture each child’s talents, build on strengths, and develop their confidence for academic achievement.
SHS Life is orientated towards developing the “whole-child” beyond academia, providing skills and knowledge for participation in society beyond the classroom walls. The preparatory years provide a firm foundation for secondary schooling in terms of academic grounding, but also act as cognitive preparation for the challenges and opportunities that face children at the next educational stage and throughout life. Scholastic progress and intellectual attainment are encouraged alongside participation in charitable events, community projects and pupil-driven initiatives which help develop emotional intelligence, as well as imagination, confidence, initiative and integrity.
Sinclair House focuses on providing a consistent gradient of learning from the Early Years all the way through to preparation for 11+ examinations. Teaching is academically challenging, encouraging scholastic progress whilst also nurturing personal talents and development. The school celebrates every individual’s unique achievements, giving all children the chance to progress and to shine.
