From its early beginnings as a Business English specialist in 1990, Simon & Simon has grown to become the UK’s No.1 provider of experienced language trainers to the business community, delivering hundreds of English & Foreign Language Courses every week to employees in cities across the UK. Our passion is to see organisations improve their performance through the implementation of effective language training programs, and we believe that can best be achieved by finding and recruiting the most experienced teachers to work with our clients. With an average of 16 years’ experience our current team of language trainers bears testimony to this approach - a figure unmatched by any other language-training provider in the UK. We regularly provide courses in more than 20 languages including, Cantonese, Czech, Dutch, Greek, Hungarian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish and Turkish – and the languages in most demand from our clients are French, Spanish, English, German, Russian, Arabic and, of course, Mandarin. Some of our teachers are members of the Institute of Linguists, and some are also qualified examiners, translators and interpreters. All are qualified native-speaker teachers. We rarely interview candidates with less than 10 years’ background in the teaching profession, and, to the best of our knowledge are the only language-training organisation to adopt such a policy.
