Established at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2005, Sigma Alpha Nu was founded as the first Co-Ed Pre-Law Fraternity in the country for those passionate about law. Sigma Alpha Nu strives for excellence, professionalism, and passion for law. These principles have guided our members down diverse and rewarding career paths, including law practice, journalism, public policy, and pharmaceuticals.
Our alumni have held positions at Bain & Co., Ernst & Young, and Fenwick & West, and have attended law school at some of the most prestigious universities. Some of these universities include Harvard, Stanford, and USC.
One of primary goals of Sigma Alpha Nu is educating its members on knowledge of law by exposing its members to a vast array of professional networks, including superior court systems, law firms, government agencies, and more. But SAN is more than just a professional network, it's a place where people with similar values and ideals come together to support one another in their lifelong achievements. The path to success is not for the faint of heart, and having like-minded peers to rely on makes anything seem attainable. Welcome to Sigma Alpha Nu.
Sincerely,
