The Sierra Club San Francisco Bay Chapter is the local branch of the Sierra Club, America's largest and most effective grassroots environmental organization. The Bay Chapter is comprised of the 30,000 Sierra Club members who live in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, and San Francisco counties.
Comprised of over a dozen employees and many more volunteers and members, the Bay Chapter works on various local environmental issues, from conserving the Bay Area's spectacular open spaces and wildlife to fighting back against the polluting fossil fuel industry and promoting the spread of clean-energy solutions right here at home.
Our careers range from conservation and advocacy work to volunteer and member outreach to the fundraising positions that keep us running.
