Shiraz Municipality is the highest executive organization of Shiraz City, run by the Mayor of Shiraz, under the supervision and governance of the Islamic Council of Shiraz City. Current Mayor of Shiraz is Heidar Eskandarpour and he has divided the city into 11 zones each governed by their own Executive Mayor.
