Shields

Shields is a blown film flexible packaging company located in Yakima, Washington. We manufacture plastic film and bags, and specialize in custom extrusions, flexographic printing and bag converting all in one location. Our capabilities include mono and co-extrusions (up to 9-layers), 10-color flexographic printing, and many types of bag and pouch making, including wicketed sideweld, reclosable zipper, lap and angle seal bags. We have a complete, in-house platemaking and graphics division, capable of creating new designs or working with existing artwork. Shields is a major supplier of packaging to many diverse industries, including: Building and construction, insulation, lawn and garden, fertilizer, banking and security, retail foods, meat, cheese, bakery, fruit and produce, ice, wood pellet and lumber.
