SKI (Sherkat-e-Kontorsazi-e-Iran) is a meter manufacturer company that founded in 1960s by Iranian ministry of energy and A.E.G. Germany as a joint venture, in 4 hectares premise in which 2.7 hectares are allocated to manufacturing such as production line, plastic injection, terminal and nut, SMT and Through Hole Assembly sections and etc, with more than 1,200 employees and one of the biggest in the middle east. In 2008 SKI through stock exchange privatized by Moin Renan (Investment Oriented) Company and afterwards it become one of the biggest companies in stock exchange. Now SKI with over 40 years of deep manufacturing experience in different kind of Poly-Phase (Commercial, Industrial) with 80% of market share and Single-Phase (Residential) Electronic Electricity Meters with more than 60% of market share, with its wide range and high quality products, is and has been one of the leading companies in Electronic Meters Manufacturing throughout the country and region. SKI stablished the company for CFL production. Smart Grid department is another important part of company that founded in 2011 to cover all task in relation to smart metering and smart grid systems.
