Shelter Ni

Shelter NI is a charity campaigning for a sufficient supply of affordable, good quality, warm, healthy, safe and secure housing for all households in NI, and to eliminate homelessness and poor housing. Shelter NI provides temporary furnished accommodation and floating support services for young people aged 16-25 through SLATE project based in Omagh. GABLE operates services throughout Strabane, L’Derry, Magherafelt and Limavady. One service supports older and disabled people with the Disabled Facilities Grant. Helping Hands is a new service and aims to provide a “First Response” to households which require urgent repairs or maintenance to their home.
