Sharnam Sewa Samiti Sharnam Sewa Samiti is a non political, secular and non-profitable organisation registered in 1997-98 under Section 21 of society's registration act 1860. It is a group of socially responsible people, from various sections of the society, committed to community development. Since its inception in 1997-98 Sharnam's focus has been mainly on major issues of common concern especially for the vulnerable and excluded groups of the society. It has domain expertise on the issues like Gender, HIV and AIDS, Education, Reproductive and Child Health, Public Health Systems and Community Health, Women's empowerment, Self Help and microfinance, Natural Resources management, human trafficking and Disaster management. It is engaged in the consultations, research, assessments and exploration of development programmes. The purpose behind these activities is to make a visible impact on the society.
