Shandong Hongjitang Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1907. It is a nationally-known Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) company, ranking in the top 50 in China’s TCM industry. Hongjitang has 148 TCM medical product approval numbers and 11 large formulations, giving it a competitive edge. In recent years, Hongjitang ndw drug manufacturing approvals include: two TCM Category VI, a number of TCM Category VIII and IX, and two Chemical Medicine Category VI. Among its products, two have obtained a TCM Protection Certificate and three others have become standards in the Pharmacopoeia of PRC. In September 2016, Hongjitang (Stock Code: 838658) entered the capital market and went public on NEEQ, signifying its transformation from a traditional manufacturer to an innovation-driven enterprise. With TCM as one of the drivers of the national economy, Hongjitang Pharmaceutical plans to become the No.1 mass-market brand in the TCM industry within the coming years.
