Service Civil International (Sci)

Service Civil International (SCI) is one of the world’s largest international volunteering NGOs dedicated to promoting a culture of peace and fostering participation through the organisation and coordination of voluntary projects all over the world since 1920. Our work is supported by the European Union and by the Council of Europe through the European Youth Foundation. We have received the support of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme of the European Union. The organisation consists of 40 branches/groups and an ever growing number of partner organisations. SCI is open to all and its projects have demonstrated to be an effective way of helping to break down barriers and prejudice between people of different backgrounds and to promote a culture of peace and intercultural understanding.
