Serafina Dances

Serafina is a local Chicago belly dance performer and instructor. She has been performing since 2007 and teaching at her private dance space, "Studio Maliha," since 2009. Classes are offered there as well as at several local park district programs and Elgin Community College. Belly dance is a whole body workout! It has been practiced for thousands of years in the Middle East with influences from India and even Eastern Europe. It is even safe for pregnant women, as it prepares the abdominal muscles for labor and childbirth. In fact, FIT PREGNANCY lists it in their top 5 workouts for pregnant women!
