The pot is made from starchy renewable plants like corn, switch grass, and sugar beets grown right here in the U.S. Starch from these materials are processed into a biopolymer that looks, acts, and performs like its traditional petroleum-based plastics. SelfEco Garden Pots have plant food built right into the walls of the container! These nutrients come from coffee chaff, worm casings, and other natural organics. As the pot breaks down, it releases these nutrients and proteins directly into the roots of the plant, helping them grow bigger and faster all season long. SelfEco was created from a 3rd generation manufacturer whose intention was to capitalize on past knowledge and technology to produce products made in America that are Earth-friendly and sustainable.
