Sea Turtle Rescue Alliance

The Sea Turtle Rescue Alliance (STRA) is the first NGO dedicated to expanding access to medical care for endangered and threatened sea turtle species, and increasing sea turtle conservation through sharing and teaching of medical therapy and rehabilitation techniques around the world. STRA-affiliated centres have unique access to qualified, licensed veterinarians with specialized training in sea turtle medicine. The purpose of the alliance is to promote the professional collaboration and sharing of clinical knowledge, techniques and data in order to refine and improve sea turtle health at “rescue and release” facilities worldwide.
