Sea Alarm is a small not for profit Non-Government Organisation based in Brussels, Belgium. As an impartial catalyst, we support and partner with governments, oil and maritime industries and wildlife/conservation/environmental organisations to provide solutions for the prevention of, preparedness for and response to marine wildlife emergencies.
We assist all stakeholders to an emergency to work together and support them to better understand the issues related to marine emergencies; bridge their gaps, ensure the development of training packages, innovative exercises, guidelines and good practices. We are advancing the work field by designing and realising focused projects, and exploring or guiding sustainable multi-stakeholder solutions.
Throughout our 20-year history, we have been mobilised to many oil spill events to provide remote or on-site technical advice, we have contributed to the development of international best practice guides and trained industry, governments and industry across the globe.
