Scoopshot

Scoopshot is the leading mobile platform for photo and video crowdsourcing with authentication technology. It is also the world’s first platform to allow mobile photographers to earn money from in-image advertising. Clients, including news providers, bloggers and brands, can search Scoopshoot’s photo and video inventory or request photographers to submit specific photos or videos, via tasks. To use this content, they pay a fee per photo/video to the Scoopshooter or, alternatively, clients can use content for free when it is embedded with an ad — the Scoopshot system takes care of image rights transfers and monetary transactions. Part of P2S Media Group Inc., Scoopshot was established in 2010 in Helsinki, Finland, by a team of spirited serial entrepreneurs and is privately owned. The company is privately funded by investment from partners and VCs, including Conor Venture Partners and Finnish Industry Investment.
