The Science Undergraduate Society of UBC Vancouver represents over 8,500 undergraduate students in the Faculty of Science at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
Its mandate is to promote the academic, physical, and social well-being of all the students enrolled in the Faculty; promote a measure of pride and spirit for the Faculty; provide services for its constituents; create a community of friendship and goodwill amongst students; extend welcome to all who are a part of the Faculty; promote good relations with other communities on campus; and represent its students' interests as students to the administration.
The Society is led by a team of eight elected executive members and a council of approximately twenty-five student representatives from clubs and departments.
