School District No. 8 (Kootenay Lake) focuses on excellence for all learners in a nurturing environment. Located in the southern interior of British Columbia, Canada, School District 8 - Kootenay Lake serves a number of individual communities including Crawford Bay, Creston, Kaslo, Meadow Creek, Nelson, Salmo, Slocan, South Slocan, Winlaw, Wynndel, Yahk and the surrounding rural areas, within a large geographic area consisting of two time zones. Our visionary, creative team focuses on providing the best opportunities we can possibly create on behalf of over 5400 students and their families.
