I grew up in a Real Estate family all my relatives were a some point in the business. So it was a natural step when I graduated High school to join the family business basically a Real Estate and appraisal firm. While I attended University of New Haven for a bachelor degree I worked weekends helping the family. After college I became fascinated with the finance part of a Real Estate transaction. I began my career for two years, at a small mortgage out fit in Fairfield county, were I learned about the many facets of finance and wrote more conventional style loans. Then I worked 4 years at a Direct Lending firm in Branford, there I wrote more Non-traditional risk based loans as well as worked the 10 million dollar warehouse line. I left there to create Templeton Mortgage Group for 8 years where I wrote loans and managed a staff of loan officers.I was excited to join Scholastic Mortgage when the opportunity arose as the founder Ed Woodhead started with me at Templeton and has been a life long friend for 30 years. With the Direct lending ability it only complemented my style of writing loans. I have always believed that something worth doing is worth doing correctly, my 24 years of knowledge in the real estate industry gets you complete answers, not false promises
My hobbies are hiking, fishing, landscaping and music
