PRESS RELEASE
30-th March 2015: Merger AGVE AB and SCARABEE LOGISTIC SYSTEMS
Sweden based AGVE, one of the pioneers of Automated Guided Vehicles and SCARABEE Logistic Systems, system integrator with offices in the Netherlands and in Germany, announce their merger. The companies will operate under the name AGVE and employ over 50 dedicated highly skilled engineers.
AGVE was one of the pioneers of AGV technology in the 1980’s and has ever since been developing and manufacturing AGV hardware, software and vehicles. Featuring an installed base of over 2.500 vehicles in almost every European country and some big customers in Asia and the USA, AGVE has become one of the larger AGV suppliers.
SCARABEE Logistic Systems has been a system integrator since 1987 realizing highly automated logistic systems like High Bay Warehouses, Sorter systems and AGV systems and providing full service for these systems during their operational life time.
Both companies will continue the ongoing projects, aftermarket contracts and quotations as usual. All offices, productions sites and employees will stay within the group.
SCARABEE’s existing fine project and service organisation fits perfectly with AGVE's vehicle manufacturing and software development divisions. Through this merger, AGVE can offer the market a one-stop- shop for AGV systems: design the logistical concept, build the AGV‘s, implement them at the customer’s site and service them
their entire life time.
Having own AGV production and development allows AGVE to respond to the request we received in the past years from the market: high quality and short delivery time at a competitive price.
The AGVE group is present across the world with offices in the Europe the USA and South Korea.
