Savitar was foundend in 1987 in a farmhouse in San Miniato hills. Since the beginning the strength of the company was the careful selection and conservation according to the ancient Truffle tradition. The 90’s were the turning points for a new corporate asset, Mr. Mauro Bini joined the company to dedicate himself in the export. Thanks to his experience of more than 15 years in international market the company consolidate its presence in foreign markets and in few time he brought excellent results. Export consolidation picked up in 2001 when Savitar enter the Brasil market where the company became a leader in the sector. In 2004 the company moved in a new premises located in San Miniato. Today Savitar is present with its products in three continents: Asia, Europe and America.
Claudio Savini was 12 years old when started with his father the truffle hunting. Mr Savini abandoned the truffle hunting to dedicate himself in producing truffle specialties. Thanks to his talent and deep knowledge of the precious tuber Claudio creates unique products: truffle honey, a match never done before, was invented by Mr Savini, truffle saba which enrichs the grapes syrup of the culinary tradition from Sardinia with truffle. Claudio Savini looks after the relationship with the best know chefs of the world, Mr Maurizio Remmert Mr Maurizio Remmert is one of the most critical experimenter of Claudio Savini’s products.
