Saudi Rockwool Factory was established in 1992 located in the third industrial area south of Riyadh occupying an area of 30,000 m2 to meet the local and international growing needs of Rockwool. the availability of its raw materials locally was another driving factor to establish this industry.The factory is divided into two main sections; the first section contains three production lines and it is involved in producing dark gray wool with a capacity of 5,000 tons/year The second section contains two production lines and it is involved in producing yellow wool with a capacity of 22,500 tons/year.The main raw materials used in the production of Saudi Rockwool Factory are lime stone and basalt which is available in the K.S.A abundantly, other materials used in production such as resin, aluminum sheet, wire mesh, fiber glass, etc, are imported from different specialized companies involved in this sector. As part of our commitment to quality, we perform regular product testing, both locally and internationally, against the highest standards levels. Saudi Rockwool Factory is ISO 9002 certificated since 1998, and the factory also obtains the (CE) mark in 2008.
