We provide our guests with the opportunity to experience new things, be curious, and learn in a fun and innovative way. It is often daunting to learn the Archimedes Principle or the Ideal Gas Law, but kids of all ages love watching our hot air balloon expand and float to the ceiling. We give families and classrooms the opportunity to work together to build a house, a car, or a robot and build on and react to each other’s ideas. And when you learn a little, it wets your appetite to learn more. It compels you to ask How does that work? What does that do? What happens if I change this?
The Saskatchewan Science Centre offers many services for business as well, including facility rentals such as two boardrooms, two theatres - including the Kramer IMAX theatre, a full-service restaurant facility for private functions, and a vast gallery space. You can even rent the exhibit floor for private functions!
Our staff has also developed an excellent curriculum of adult education programs including team-building exercises to improve the way that your staff works together and give their creativity a boost.
We also offer a Corporate Membership program that allows any business, no matter how big or how small, to play a critical role in developing skills in innovation, creativity, and to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to a new generation of Saskatchewanians!
