Founded by two couples: André Sardet and Catarina Mesquita Dutra, José Manuel Portugal and Maria Israel Portugal, The Sapientia Boutique Hotel was born from the dream of recovering three old buildings in the upper part of Coimbra and transforming them into an elegant and personalized hotel. Located in the heart of Coimbra's high, half walls with the University of Coimbra, the hotel enjoys the privilege of being the only hotel in this area considered by UNESCO as World Heritage.
